What do I need to wear for my appointment?
Loose and comfortable clothing is ideal to wear. This is because you may be asked to perform movements. Gym clothes or shorts are a great example. On occasion, you may be asked to remove articles of clothing depending on the treatment.

How can I pay for my treatment?
You may pay by cash or card. All major credit cards are accepted (AMEX included). Payment is taken after your treatment.

Where can I park?
There is a free car park situated less than a minute away from the Clinic. This is situated adjacent to The White Hart on Old Road, Tean, Staffordshire.

Is your building disabled friendly?
Yes. Access to the building is disabled friendly. The building is on ground level with no steps.

Do you work with private medical insurers?
This will depend on who your insurance cover is with and your policy cover. A number of our clients have had claims settled directly with insurers.

Can you write me a referral letter?
Yes. Referral letters can be produced upon request.

What happens after my first appointment?
If appropriate, we will demonstrate and guide you through a range of exercises and stretches to complete at home. These exercises are used to promote recovery and reduce your pain. You will be shown how to undertake these exercises at home. Follow-up appointments may be required to assess your progress and to enhance recovery.

Do I need a referral from my GP?
There is no need to obtain any referral from your GP to attend an appointment at Combat Injury Clinic.

Are the type of treatments right for my problem?
This is a very important question that lots of people ask. If you are in pain or have any of the following problems, then you can be confident that our treatments may be of benefit to you. Injuries we can treat are:
Back pain and stiffness; Neck pain and stiffness; Shoulder muscle tension and tightness; Sports injuries, Hip or groin pain; Pain in hamstring, calf, groin muscles or the Achilles tendon; Pain of the foot; Pain and stiffness in your back when you put your socks and shoes on.
